Callaway Competition targets podium positions at Red Bull Ring
After several weeks it's finally time for another round of exciting motorsports! For the start in the second half of the season the ADAC GT Masters moves on to the Red Bull Ring from 22 to 24 July! Following the highly successful runs at Sachsenring and Lausitzring Team Callaway Competition is eager for further success.
At the race weekend in Spielberg (Austria) the team starts with a total of three corvettes:
Starting on the Roller/Valvoline Corvette with number #77 Daniel Keilwitz and Jules Gounon who are second in the driver standings after the victories in the last two races at Sachsenring / Lausitzring. In the AutoArenA Corvette #69 Patrick Assenheimer and Dominik Schwager will be in the starting grid at the Red Bull Ring. The excellent performance of the last races showing that they both want to fight for the top places! In the third car, the Whelen Corvette with starting number # 31, Boris Said and Eric Curran will sit in the cockpit. The aim of both is to achieve a position in the first half of the field.
The entire team, materials and technology are perfectly prepared for the start in Austria according to Ernst Wöhr and Giovanni Ciccone:
"Of course we have a run due to the recent successes and we are trying to take this momentum into the second half of the season. However, competition is extremely hard this season and it will certainly be a tough fight! But we are in good spirits and our goal is to get more championship points out of this race weekend!"
