From June 3 to 5, the third race weekend of the ADAC GT Masters will start at the Motorsport Festival Lausitzring. For the first time since 2008, the ADAC GT Masters will race together with the DTM at the same race weekend - certainly a highlight of the ADAC GT Masters season 2016!
In the AutoArenA Corvette # 69 Patrick Assenheimer and Dominik Schwager will attack and fight for the rankings in the front ranks. The fast speed and the consistently good lap times in the last race weekends are now to be translated in points at the Lausitzring .
Boris Said and Loris Hezemans are also starting at the Lausitzring in the Whelen Corvette with starting number # 31. It is a new track that will surely be a challenge for both drivers. Boris Said is very well able to adjust because the Lausitzring is similar to the American oval tracks with infield. The aim of both is to race in the front half of the field.
The two team bosses Ernst Wöhr and Giovanni Ciccone are optimistic ahead of the race: "We have witnessed a positive race weekend at Sachsenring and thus we are very eager to continue the positive trend... However, we will not rest on our laurels and after an extensive data analysis we have further optimized the setups of the vehicles. We will definitely give everything we have! "
A special highlight at the Lausitzring will certainly be the Valvoline promotion truck, which will be situated near the Callaway Competition Box!
